Meme - any unit of cultural information, such as a practice or idea, that gets transmitted verbally or by repeated action from one mind to another (Wikipedia).
It’s one of the things I like most about the Internet, when an idea seems to catch fire and hundreds of un-connected people join together to create something bigger. There are of course hundreds of examples of this, but it’s my post, so here are my top three …
3. Fail - Images of failure … it can get a little dark, but mostly funny (mouse over image for controls).
2. De-motivational Posters - We’ve all seen motivational posters hanging on office walls, this is kind of the anti-christ of that I guess (mouse over image for controls).
1. Music Graphs - These are my current favourites, there are so many i’m going to let you track them down … but here’s a flickr link to get you started and a couple of examples.
