The PSP is a great machine. Some people say it lacks great games but, while a few more would never hurt, I’ve played plenty. What’s weird is that, not long after PSP’s initial launch, Sony seem to have promoted it as everything but a games machine. New add-on devices have been announced to increase its non-gaming functionality, making its key strength even less clear. So, is it a games machine anymore? I have been debating for a while now about whether to get a PS3 or a 360. I’ve taken my time however because I’ve known that the only reason I have for buying one is to play one game - GTA IV. The trailer above is my favourite one and just gives you an idea of how mind-blowingly entertaining and immersive I think this game will be. read full post »

I guess the 96 sheet says “the PS3 is going to hit me like a tornado”. But, I’m not so sure. All I can say for certain is its going to hit my wallet, and maybe my wife will hit me if she finds the £350 receipt.
The PS3’s launch penetration is similar to the 360, and I know its far too early to say if the PS3 is going to seriously struggle – but you’ve got to admit it is an ‘awkward’ console. read full post »
