Twitter addiction. Are brands missing out? I think not.

Last week News Biscuit wrote a spoof article about a man who almost killed himself because of his Twitter addiction. Despite the spoof, at its core lies the incontrovertible addictive nature of Twitter.

Last year countless businesses banned Facebook access due to interminable employee distraction. Why are social networks so addictive? And why aren’t brands benefiting?

The man from bebo. (interview)

man-from-bebo

Working in SoHo has it’s obvious advantages, one of them is bumping into new and interesting people. Dominic Tillson is the man from bebo and conveniently his office is just around the corner from Knitware.

Indiana Jones and the Changing Face of Hollywood Hype

Rarely do film-goers talk about action films with such enthusiasm because rarely does Hollywood produce action films with such quality characters. And rarely has a film’s development had such a slow burn. Suffice to say anticipation around the Cystal Skull is rife. Hype should be easy. But it ain’t what it used to be. read full post »

Widgetology: Super Mario Revived

Super Mario

We haven’t talked much about Widgets on Knitware. Graham mentioned sharp’s latest Aquos Net widget TV, but I think they probably deserve more dues. I’ve been building a website for my wedding for some time now; I just wanted it to be a simple and easy to use site that tells people where the hotels are and how to get to our little corner of England. The problem is that I was desperately ill equipped to design a website. read full post »
