NASA is spending a small fortune on missions to Mars and we all know space travel is an expensive luxury. Therefore, acquiring revenue from other sources has to be an option. So how long before we see brands in space?

I’m going to make a prediction that Virgin will be at the cutting edge of this … it’s not like Branson to miss a promotional opportunity and the Virgin Galactic site makes it look tantalizingly close.

Then there’s Google, it’s been an open secret for years that the big G plans to open their next office on the moon (this one we might have to wait a little longer for).

But joking apart, how much would you pay to be the first brand in space? The global PR alone would surely justify the cost … mark my words it won’t be the distant future before we see ‘your brand here’.
