Wi-Fi now on Airplanes. (If you couldn’t sleep on a plane before, you definitely won’t now.)

Anyone with a tappy keyboard will get evil looks and anyone with VoiP may be in serious peril. Business travellers will have no respite and kids will squeal at miniclip in delight. American Airlines has just launched WiFi on 3 routes. Is WiFi going to change air travel as we know it?

Consumers Spot That Life In Ads Better Than Real Life

Fascinating post on YouTube by a regular consumer putting to the test Apple’s claims about the speed of the iPhone 3G .

What’s interesting to me is not just the content of the video - which is revealing in its own way - but the way that consumers are increasingly challenging and distrusting advertising.

And how easily they can spread the message.

Even the comments on the YouTube page are mostly in favour of Apple, but based on the fact that, ‘It’s advertising, dude, of course it’s fake.’

Small but beautifully made - The rise of the tiny URL

I remember the first time I saw a Tiny URL address (in a computer magazine) and being a little puzzled by it. As the genius of the idea slowly sank in I started wondering why no one else had come up with this before.
